As Global IT Chief Security Officer, Tom Dunbar holds global responsibility for XL Capital’s overall IT Security program. Michael Barrett is the chief information security officer for PayPal. In this role he is responsible for ensuring the security of information systems and services, as well as the integrity and confidentiality of customer and employee information. Before joining PayPal, Barrett was vice president of security and utility strategy at American Express where he helped define the company’s information-security program and directed its Internet technology strategy. Previously, Barrett was president of the Liberty Alliance, an open-standards consortium focused on identity management standards and guidelines. Ian Glazer, Director of Identity Strategy, Trusted Network Technologies
Ian Glazer is the director of identity strategy for Trusted Network Technologies, where he is responsible for business partnerships, product strategy and working with key industry identity groups such as the Identity Gang. Prior to TNT, Ian was one of the main product managers on the IBM Tivoli identity management team responsible for the provisioning connectors, small and medium business provisioning offerings, and user management componentization. His duties also included work with standards bodies such as OASIS. Ian joined IBM through its acquisition of identity management leader Access360, where he stared the federal sales group for identity management. His responsibilities at Access360 included sales engineering, field marketing, solution development and product management. Before that, Ian worked for Oracle in the federal sales group. Paul Sangster serves as a Distinguished Engineer and Chief Security Standards Officer for Symantec Corporation. In this role, Sangster is defining and leading Symantec’s security standards strategy and working to drive adoption of security and networking standards across the corporation. For seven years prior to joining Symantec, Sangster was the Lead Security Architect for Sun’s Solaris operating system.
