FRAMINGHAM, MA, July 26, 2006 -
Digital ID World, the industry’s digital identity conference, has named
(ISC)², the global leader in educating and certifying information security
professionals throughout their careers, the official education sponsor for
Digital ID World. (ISC)² also recognizes the conference content as eligible
for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for (ISC)² credential
maintenance. Digital ID World will take place September 11-13, 2006 at the
Santa Clara Marriott, Santa Clara, California, and will feature the latest
technologies being used to authenticate, manage, control, integrate, store
and analyze identity-associated information.
“(ISC)² is the premier information security education and certification
organization worldwide. Having them on board as the official education
sponsor for Digital ID World is a wonderful benefit for our member attendees,”
said Phil Becker, editor in chief and conference chair, Digital ID World.
“We are thrilled that our compelling content will assist in the continual
education of (ISC)²’s members.”
(ISC)² members can earn one continuing education credit for every hour of
meetings or tutorials they attend, for a total of 14 possible credits.
For IDG to submit credits on their behalf, participants will need to
provide their (ISC)² member number when they register. At the conclusion
of the conference, certificates will be given to members as verification
of CPE credits earned toward their (ISC)² recertification.
Digital ID World will provide up-to-the-minute information on strategic
topics such as enterprise identity management, provisioning, strong
authentication, federated identity, virtual directories, smart cards,
Web services security, identity-based network access control, enterprise
